Redwood City, CA here they come - JR raises the roof at Club Fox

Saturday night Journey Revisited returned to Club Fox to rock Redwood City fans. They knocked it out of the park -- the crowd roared for an encore, and JR gave them Oh Sherrie...what a blast! New fans, don't forget to "Like" our Facebook page!

And tonight was a special night for one hardcore fan, birthday boy Jim Branch, who has seen JR who knows how many times, and has a massive collection of photos from gigs. We profiled him for this blog.

A snippet from his essay about seeing JR and loving it...
They have been back to Redwood several times and even played in San Carlos at a concert in the park. It was the biggest showing of fans in several years they have been doing it. JR tore it up that night and I had never seen as many people there before -- it was a packed house.

I have driven as far as Fresno, Copperopolis, Monterey, Salinas, and other cities to see them play. I will make the drive because they are a great group of guys and are well worth it.

Jeff, Val, Michael, Kevin and David -- thank you for bringing us such awesome music and an amazing tribute to one of the greatest Bay Area bands of all time Journey. You are the best tribute to Journey ever and I am so grateful for your friendships.
Happy birthday, Jim. You know he will rock the house!

JR shakes things up at the Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival!

The guys really threw down in Indio, CA -- for the Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival. They did two sets -- 1:30 PM & 4:00 PM.

This is the first time that Journey Revisited has played the Fair -- and the folks that stopped by were rocked by what they heard. The booker for the event, Judy Cunning, said this:
Hello Val,
Thank you so much for the great shows today. Oh My Gosh -- the band was great and I do hope I have a chance to work with you again and I will make sure I tell everyone I know what a great band you have.

Last Saturday's gig at Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, WA was such a smash that the crowds again were overflowing; so many couldn't get into the venue (but stayed to listen!)...it seems like this is a regular occurrence now for JR as the same thing happened back in January at Black Oak Casino.

And the 2015 kickoff gig at the Westside Theatre in Newman, CA was sold out. The box office there said that there were so many calls about that show the day of the performance that they could have added a second night and sold that gig out as well!

Journey Revisited lead singer Jeff Salado
backstage at Muckleshoot.
Journey Revisited has been bowled over by the surge of attendance at their gigs without heavy promotion or press. Word of mouth is spreading about the classic Journey sound and the authentic vocals and incredible musicianship of JR. Frontman Jeff Salado:
"I wasn't sure what to expect here at the Muckleshoot Casino in WA on Valentine's Day but who'd have thought the place was going to be so packed full of Journey-loving fans, so much so that there were just as many fans outside Club Galaxy watching the show!"
What that means is you better get your tickets as soon as the gig is announced, and if it's a free concert, show up very early to get a good seat...or you may not get in at all!

Once you go to a Journey Revisited concert, you'll be so blown away by the authenticity of the classic Journey sound that you will want to see the guys again and again. Ask any of our regular crowd that travels from show to show to see JR. You'll find many of them hanging out on our Facebook page. Stop by and "Like" us!
