Saturday, August 8, 6:00-8:00 PM! Windmill Cove Resort and Marina was rocked so hard last year that owner Rich Hogan said the band was "the best band we've ever booked here -- and it's the largest crowd to date." From last year's coverage of the gig:
Journey Revisited lead singer Jeff Salado was surprised at both the turnout and the diligence of the fans, who stayed and danced and sang along. "I really thought we'd lose half of the crowd, since most people at the marina come ashore for the performances by the bands, then pull out in the boats to leave before dark. We came on last, but almost everyone stayed to listen to JR; we really rocked out for them.

The Daily Republic featured coverage of the gig, including a snippet of the JR interview with Jeff!

“When you’re trying to emulate a specific performer, singer, artist, you try to do all of their little nuances and their quirks, the way they pronounce words and their intonations,” he said. “You try to do all that is embodied in the same ‘character,’ that person in your performance.

“And, merely having the tone or just singing the note doesn’t do it. There are a lot more key features in achieving that true sound and the spirit of Perry.”
